Tymek Borowski

b. 1984, in Warsaw

Painter, author of digital images and videos. Graduate of the painting department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

Borowski’s were exhibited at Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw; Zachęta - National Gallery of Art, Warsaw; CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw; Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAK) in Kraków; Contemporary Museum, Wrocław; National Museum in Wrocław; National Museum in Gdańsk; Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, Berlin and Halle für Kunst Steiermark (Künstlerhaus), Graz, among others.

Winner of the Polityka Passport Award for 2015 and the Views 2013 Deutsche Bank Foundation Audience Award.

His works are part of public and private art collections including: Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAK) in Krakow; National Museum in Wrocław; National Museum in Gdańsk; Museum of Warsaw; Arsenał Gallery, Białystok; ING Polish Art Fundation, Warsaw and ASOM Collection, Vaduz.
